Why the funny name?
"Armory Park Utterologist" refers to several things:
(1) It has the same initials as my name (A.P.U.).
(2) It refers to where I live (Armory Park, a historic neighborhood in downtown Tucson, Arizona) and to my profession ("utterologist" being a newly-coined word for "professional linguist").

Hello--Thanks for the info on Armory Park (and Tucson restaurants on your other blog)...I found your blog while searching -- from Seattle -- for info on the Armory Park neighborhood.
I am collecting info for a possible escape from rain city. Do you think Tucson is at all doable without a car? With a bike? Thanks for your thoughts.
